Where to get those cheap yet stunning outfits in Bangkok?

I guess it is not a secret that Bangkok is a heaven for every girl who loves to shop! They have the cheapest outfits I've ever known! But it is if you know where to find them.

Of course, you will not find them in mall like, Central World or Siam Centre. It is basically the same with any other malls. So, you need to turn your direction.

To find mediocre price (average range 200 - 500 Baht, around IDR 96.000 - 240.000) with notably amount of outfits, you can go to Platinum Fashion Mall. Located in Pratunam, it is a 6-story building, and in each floor, there are a lot of clothes, accessories, bag, shoes, also cosmetics. You can get lost in here! You cannot underestimate Thailand's largest wholesale and retail shopping destination.

In here, you can negotiate the price and also, get a wholesale price if you buy more than one piece. But, mostly, all place that I will tell you here, allow you to negotiate the price with them.

But be careful, sometimes, if the seller know that it is your first time there, they will give you expensive price, so always try to negotiate the price first!

In this photo, all the outfits I bought from Platinum fashion mall. The top for 150 Baht (around IDR 72.000) and the short for 250 Baht (IDR 120.000). Unfortunately, I didn't have the courage to negotiate the price that time, since it was my first day in Bangkok T.T

After you go to Platinum Fashion Mall, the next destination is in front of Platinum Fashion Mall! They are a lot of stores along the road, and plazas that selling cheaper products than Platinum Fashion Mall.

It is called Chaburi street, in this street, you'll find Krung Thong Plaza and City Plaza. But you should focus to Chaburi street. I think this street is the winner of all shopping destinations in Bangkok.

When you walk on this street, you will get deeper and deeper, like the road will not end, and you do not have enough time to explore all the stores in here even though you spend a whole day here.

The price is already cheap, but if you buy more than one piece, you will get cheaper price. The average price here start from 80 Baht (IDR 38.000). If you buy only for one piece, price start from 150 Baht (IDR 72.000). There are variety of choices. Just across from Platinum Fashion Plaza. The deeper you get, the cheaper price you will get.

The only disadvantage from shopping here, you must allow yourself to produce a swimming pool, since you will be sweating a lot. There are no air conditioner here, different with Platinum Fashion Mall that has air conditioner. But I will guarantee you, you will not regret shopping here.

This is what I got in Chaburi street. Again, unfortunately, I was buying for 1 piece for each. Top for only 100 Baht (around IDR 48.000), pants for 300 Baht (around IDR 144.000), and the bag also for 300 Baht. The original price of pants is 400 Baht, and the bag is 350 Bath. Thus, I have to say, the pants have a high quality, so I do not mind to spend 300 Baht on both pants and bag.

Another place you need to visit to satisfy your shopping experience in Bangkok is Chatuchak Weekend Market and Ratchada Night Market. If you are possibly to visit Ratchada Night Market, please try the spare ribs below. It is super delicious. (sorry, out of topic)

So, in these markets, yes the price is more pricey than Chaburi, but some of the stores sell unique and antique products that you will not find in Chaburi. (Average range start from 180 Baht, about IDR 89.000).

I guess if you come to these destinations above, your shopping skill and experience will increase to level expert lol

Don't forget to bring your own shopping bag! Do not waste plastic if you can bring your own bag. Because most of these stores will give you plastic bags, it is sad to use significant amount of plastic bags, right?

Let's go green! XOXO
